There’s a magical place in the middle of the Sonora desert, Arizona. Encircled by a colonnade of skinny Italian cypress trees, the city of Arcosanti emerges as a somehow decadent, retro-futurist temple.
Conceived by Italian visionary architect Paolo Soleri in the 60’s and 70’s decades, this Utopian city made of massive concrete structures of organic forms is the expression of his particular philosophy: Arcology, the fusion of architecture and ecology.

Tuberose Mistress of Voluptuousness
Tuberose, with its white blossoms with pale pink hues on the bud, look innocent enough, but emit a complex sweet fragrance often described as hypnotic. Indeed, in common with other sensual white flowers, its scent, stronger at night to attract pollinators, has an underlying animalic characteristic, with fragrance notes that hint at the body and sex.

Notes from the Volcano
We are innately drawn to volcanoes. It’s Midsummer’s Eve, a magical date that marks the arrival of our favourite season. While Mediterranean countries celebrate summer solstice with large gatherings lighting a bonfire on the beach, Scandinavian countries celebrate the arrival of the summer season with some rituals that connect them with their pagan, agricultural past. One of the most beautiful traditions is the ritual of The Seven Flowers.

“Fruit for hair” is the literal translation for Shikakai, the beautiful Hindi word for the Acacia concinna, a shrub native to India that is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine and beauty recipes thanks its many properties. The Geométricas Hot Springs Chile
The Geométricas Hot Springs, anciently called Cajón Negro, are inmersed within the majestic beauty of the Villarica National Park, near the town of Coñaripe. These are the result of an ambitious project carried out by architect Germán del Sol. By constructing with wood and noble materials, he sought to take nature into geometry so as to achieve a harmonious whole. This new, original thermal complex is located next to the Aihué stream, which has abundant water sources.
